"L’esprit" Viù begins with a breathtaking panoramic waterfront view of Lake Annecy and its surrounding mountains.
Come and take a look. It becomes a vision, a place where the décor is intimate yet stylish and off beat. Different shades of plum, red and fuchsia create a harmonious reinterpretation of the 1900’s.
During the day, the refined upholstery and soft velvet fabrics, bathed in natural light, make Le Viù an ideal place for elegant luncheons. Evenings ensure privacy and a more intimate setting; mirrors and soft lighting allow you to relax, while the distant Annecy lights and the moonlit lake shimmer and glitter in the background.

Le Viù, is of course a visual art cuisine with light flavours, sometimes unusual, concocted by Stéphane Thoreton, director of the restaurant.
Quality is present, the meals are first a feast for the eyes and the prices are reasonable. Like those for the wines whch are chosen to accompany the creative dishes.
At the bar, the decoration is in harmony with the restaurant with subtle shades and colors. Low tables, comfortable chairs, a play between the materials and fabrics … an elegant and comfortable setting for a moment of relaxation. The ideal place to enjoy a refreshing cocktail in a festive atmosphere for an aperitif, after dinner drink or refreshments during the day.
The interior decoration is composed of 3 styles: neoclassical, art deco and art nouveau creating a precious and fashionable overall look. The combination of noble materials: wood, brass, velvet, rattan, marble and leather with wallpaper signed Pierre Frey and Ananbô creates a poetic universe which is reflected in the deep kaki and midnight blue shades.

The Beach Bar has become “the summer” waterfront bar of Lake Annecy. Once May arrives, have your meals inside the tent, right by the water and close to the private dock. A truly unforgettable dining experience in a tent, with its rich warm colors, large convivial tables or romantic tables for two…
The Beach Bar also has a terrace that can seat 70 guests.
The tapas bar, designed like a « foodtruck », proposes a regional menu with a choice of seasonal products, elaborated and cooked with brio by the Chef. At all times of the day, the bar sells drinks to quench your thirst while you are comfortably sitting in loungers overlooking the lake in the middle of an oasis of olive trees, bougainvillea and palm trees. Paradise!
Beach version Bar
All day long, the bar proposes refreshing drinks in front of the lake on comfortable sun loungers. You can also enjoy a cocktail and plates of « finger food » in a summer mood before or after dinner or during the day.
Our new Chef Sébastien Lefortier
A new chef has joined le Palace and after having made his career between the Mediterranean Sea and the Ski Resorts in the Alps, he decided to lay down his culinary arms opposite the Lake Annecy!
Sébastien Lefortier, chef of the Tour de France, has gained his experience with Emmanuel Renaut who gave him the helm of Puck the bistrot of the Flocon de Sel in Megève. He continued his career in the Group Sibuet and then joined the Château de la Chèvre d’or in Eze as assistant head of restaurant services.
Today he has taken over the restaurants of Le Palace de Menthon and offers us a pleasant menu with savoyard touches!
